  1. Read Daniel 6:1-9 as a group.
  2. Pray for the 2026 graduating class.
    1. Pray for clarity with future life decisions.
    2. Protection and wisdom as they move towards next steps.

Loving God Unreservedly

  1. What can we learn from Daniel’s example about remaining faithful to God while living in a culture that does not honor Him?
  2. How do you think God honors those who consistently place their trust in Him?
  3. How can we follow Daniel’s example of faithfulness and devotion to prayer in our daily lives?

Loving People Sacrificially

  1. How did Darius rule his kingdom? (6:1–2)
  2. Why did Daniel’s colleagues plot against him? (6:3–4)
  3. How did the administrators and satraps plan to discredit Daniel? (6:5)
  4. How did Daniel respond to the king’s decree? (6:9–10)
  5. If you were attending a public event at which you felt that your Christian values were being compromised, what would you do?
  6. What does it mean to live above reproach? How is this done? What kinds of decisions or behaviors can result in reproach?

  1. In what ways can this text be understood as a missionary text? How does it point us to the nations?
  2. Pray that God would open opportunities for you to share the good news of Jesus in your home, community and/or work.
