- If you were attending a public event at which you felt that your Christian values were being compromised, what would you do?
- What does it mean to live above reproach? How is this done? What kinds of decisions or behaviors can result in reproach?
Making Disciples Purposefully
- In what ways can this text be understood as a missionary text? How does it point us to the nations?
- Pray that God would open opportunities for you to share the good news of Jesus in your home, community and/or work.
Dig Deeper (optional/personal study)
- Reflect: Reread the Gospel accounts of the trial of Jesus. (Matthew 26:56-27:26; Mark 14:53-15:15; Luke 22:54-23:25; John 18:12-19:16)
- What parallels do you see between the plot against Daniel and the plot to condemn Jesus?
- What were the underlying motives behind each plot?
