Dig Deeper (optional/personal study)

11. Reflect during the week: believers must be active participants in the expansion of the gospel through evangelism and discipleship.

• Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20)
• Disciples are sent into the world (Jn. 20:21)
• Believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8)
• Believers serve as Christ’s ambassadors (2 Cor. 5:18-20)
• Believers proclaim the excellencies of the gospel (1 Pt. 2:9)
• The lost can’t believe, without a person to proclaim the good news (Rom. 10:14-15)
