1. Read Daniel 10:1-21 as a group.

1. Looking back on your life, can you think of a time when God answered a prayer differently or better than you expected?

1. Give thanks for those in your church who have the job of passing on the word of God. What practical things can you do to encourage them over the next few days?

1. Why should we pray for the political leaders of the world?

1. What was the occasion of Daniel’s final vision? (10:1–3)

1. What did the heavenly being explain to Daniel? (10:12–14)

1. Summarize Daniel’s further response as seen in verses 15–17.

1. What does Daniel's example teach us about depending on God rather than our own strength when sharing our faith?
