Living God; Living Faith – Daniel 6:19-24

Ice Breaker

1. Read Daniel 6:19-24 as a group.
2. Pray for our Fall 2026 family night initiative (September 9, 2026):
1. Consider how you may participate.
2. Pray for the families that are being reached for this opportunity.
3. Pray that others may collaborate in this effort.

Loving God Unreservedly

1. Read Psalm 100:1–5 out loud several times. Respond to each reading by vocally thanking God for the ways he has blessed you and delivered you from trouble.
2. God is able to save you. How will this truth give you confidence to live for him today?

Loving People Sacrificially

1. What happened during the night? (6:19–22)
2. Why did God protect Daniel? (6:23)
3. What happened to Daniel’s accusers and their families? (6:24)
4. How can we encourage others in our community to stand firm in their faith, inspired by Daniel’s example in this passage?

Making Disciples Purposefully

1. Where do you currently have an opportunity to proclaim that your citizenship in God’s kingdom is a higher priority than your citizenship in this world?
2. How can this lead you to introduce the gospel of Jesus Christ to another person? 

Dig Deeper (optional/personal study) 

1. Read Hebrews 10 & 11. This teaching about Christ’s greatness and salvation ends with a call to trust God and keep going in faith.

• Christ’s sacrifice replaces the old system entirely (Heb. 10)
• Faith sustains believers through God’s promises, which are made complete in Christ. (Heb. 11) Why?

1. In Daniel 6, what would you select as the key verse or passage—one that best captures or reflects the dynamics of what this chapter is all about?
