  1. What could have motivated Isaiah to volunteer to be God’s messenger?
  2. How can we keep our spiritual senses attuned to God’s voice?

  1. What reasons did the psalm writer give to the nations to praise the Lord? (Psalm 96:1–13)
  2. How might the vision of Revelation 7:9 inform and shape out missionary efforts?
  3. Read Romans 2:29 and Galatians 3:29. What do these verses teach about believers in Christ?
  4. How does righteousness produced by faith come about? (Romans 10:6–9)
  5. How does Paul stress the importance of evangelism in this passage? (Romans 10:9-17)

  1. Who in your circle of friends and family needs to hear about God’s plan of salvation? When?

  1. Reflect: Psalm 96 has three sections, each beginning with a command and each mentioning the Gentiles. Find the commands and list the references to Gentiles. What was Israel’s view of their mission in the world (see Psalm 98)?
