1. Read Acts 2 as a group.
2. If you could invite any person from history to a dinner party, who would it be and why? Allow everyone to answer the question.
3. How did you become a Christian? Think about elevator conversation (be brief).

5. How was God in control of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection? (2:22–24)

• We know that the Christian life, including the beginning, middle and end, is impossible apart from the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; Galatians 3:2-3). Therefore, we are committed to “live by the Spirit” (Gal. 5:25a), to be “led by the Spirit” (Gal. 5:18), to “walk by the Spirit” (Gal. 5:16), to “keep in step with the Spirit” (Gal. 5:25b), and to “be being filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18 – a present continuous command).

12. In what ways does Acts 2 reveal the character of God, particularly His desire to be in community with His people?
