At CEFC, you will find opportunities to connect and learn at just about every season of life. We would encourage you to browse the different ministries on the right side of the home page for more specifics. If you have further questions, please contact a member of our staff.
If you are asking this question, we would love the opportunity of meeting with you and discussing what it means to have a relationship with God. You can indicate your interest in several ways: calling the church office and talking with one of our pastors or noting your interest on a Connection Card, and we will get in touch with you.
Worship is a response to who God is and what He has done. When we worship, we are submitting our agenda to God and asking Him to guide us in all our ways. All of the worship arts, such as music, drama, and prayer, help us to creatively express to God how worthy He is. Our musical style at Clovis Ev Free is a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, with an emphasis on encountering God.
We would prefer that people wear modest and casual clothing. In this way, the attention is focused on our God rather than on our dress. Members and attenders at Clovis Ev Free wear a variety of clothing styles. The important issue is that you are comfortable.
The offering is primarily intended for our members and regular attenders to give back to the Lord a portion of what He has given them. It’s really an indication that everything we have belongs to God. We don’t expect our guests to meet the regular financial needs of our church. However, we would encourage you to participate by placing your connection card in the offering so that we can get to know you better.
We would first encourage you to contact the staff member who oversees the ministry you are considering. After your personal contact, you may be able to visit the ministry of your choice. By doing this, you can see how God is at work and introduce yourself to the people who are involved. If you want to serve but are not sure about the ministry area, we offer a Ministry class, which will help you identify how God has wired you for ministry.
