Tom Whitling, Chairman of the Board and elder of Shepherding Ministries, has been married to Cricket since 1962. They have two sons and 11 grandchildren ~ all are the joy of their lives! Tom is semi-retired. He builds and sells aviaries (homes for birds). He was involved with Bible Study Fellowship and CBMC for many years. Tom and Cricket have facilitated "Growing Kids God's Way" and "Love and Respect" classes. They enjoy time in the mountains and at the "Barn." Tom can be reached at tom@theavianhome.com.

Martin Mayfield, Board Secretary and elder of Mercy Ministries, is married to Crystal. They have two daughters, Jessica and Jordan. They have been at CEFC since 2006. Martin has been active in various ministries including the teaching and leadership teams for Soul Café, Stephen Ministry, and college age bible study. Greg Smith, elder of Missions.
He has been married to Amanda since 1997. He has 3 children, Grant, Luke, and Hope. He is a Charter Member of CEFC. He is currently involved with the Missions Team, Soul Café leadership and teaching. Carl Schiefer, elder of Children's Ministry
Carl has been married to Paula since 1985. They have two sons, John and Stephen. Carl is the Director of Project Management at Fujifilm Medical Systems and has a BA in Economics from Fresno State. Carl loves to backpack and recently finished the John Muir Trail and looks forward to exploring more of the Sierras. Carl and Paula came to CEFC in 2002. Mark Schroeder, Board Treasurer and elder of Administration
He has been married to Kathy since 1980. They have two children, Joshua and Becky. He is Executive Vice President and founder (along with his wife) of Sierra Specialty, a new insurance company. He has an expansive background of over twenty-five years in underwriting and program management and Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Mark became a Christian the beginning of his 2nd year in college, 1976, through Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship and has been involved with Small Group Ministries ever since. Dan Wuthrich, Board Vice Chairman and elder of Adult Ministries
He has been married to Cheryl since 1985. They have two children, Matthew and Amy, and have been members of CEFC since 2000. Dan has served in various ministries including Missions and Adult Bible Fellowships and is a regular teacher in the Soul Cafe class. He has also served as pulpit supply for the Biola Congregational Church in Kerman for several years. Dan is currently working toward a Masters in Christian Apologetics through Biola University. Pastor Bruce Turner, Pastor to Adults and staff elder
He has been married to Cyndi since 1988. They have four children Bethany, Kyle, Victoria and Whitney. He has been at Clovis EV Free since 1998. He is the pastor to Adults. His favorite aspect in ministry is helping people to discover and apply God's truth to their lives, especially in preparing to serve or teach others. He has been involved in ministry since ’92 when he served on staff at Grace Brethren Church in Grandview, Washington. David Martens has been married to Lillian since 1985. They have three children: Ryan, Kristen, and Shannon, and have been a part of CEFC since 1994. David has served in the area of Worship Arts, been active in small group leadership and served as lead worshipper since coming to CEFC.
